IDEAS + GOODS for ARTISTS, INTROVERTS, & OTHER CREATIVE OUTSIDERS.
This meditation poem is shrouded in mystery ever since it was discovered among the various scrolls of Gnostic Gospels at Nag Hammadi, Egypt in 1945.
The Coptic manuscript is believed to have been written as a monologue in the voice of a feminine divinity, and composed in Greek before 350 C.E. The author, date, and place of this composition remain definitively unknown.
The pictures included in counterpoint to the text are comprised of the mystical Flower of Life and the five Platonic Solids from the 13-circle Fruit of Life diagram, all derived from the Sacred Geometries. Styled as watercolors, they show the solids superimposed on the Flower Of Life diagram.
